Our model for advice is a bit different (and we think better for clients) than the traditional financial advisor. Instead of combining investment management and financial planning into a single service, we offer each service on a standalone basis. This approach offers our clients several advantages:
- There is no minimum account size required for financial planning. Thus, clients who may not have a large investment portfolio can still receive professional, customized advice for their unique situation.
- With 100% transparent pricing, you know exactly what you are paying for and what services you should be receiving.
- Clients have the freedom to choose which service(s) are most appropriate for their needs and are not forced to pay for services they don’t use.
Simple, Straightforward Pricing
In most cases, we find that clients obtain the greatest value by working with us on a regular and ongoing basis. This way, they can call us “as life happens” and not worry about trying to rush through their questions because the “clock is running” (or worse, put off calling us altogether).
Financial planning is a dynamic process that in many cases takes place in near real-time. We don’t want an hourly fee to get in the way of that.
With this in mind we created a service model to make ongoing financial planning available to a wide range of clients, without tying it to the size of your investment portfolio. Depending on the complexity of your financial situation and the number of moving parts, the cost of our ongoing financial planning service typically ranges from $4,500 to $10,000 per year.

For clients who are seeking advice on only one or two specific areas of their lives, we may also offer our services on an hourly or project basis. The cost for financial planning services is $250 to $400 per hour. The cost of financial planning projects is based on the estimated time and complexity of the specific project. Wealth Engineers typically has a minimum project size of $3,000.
